Usage characteristics: Clay graphite crucible has certain heat resistance and corrosion resistance, but compared with high-purity graphite, its performance is inferior. It is usually used for heating processes at normal or lower temperatures, such as using carbon fire for heating.

Application fields: Since the cost of clay graphite crucible is relatively low and it can meet some basic refractory requirements, it is often used in situations where the performance of the crucible is not high, such as casting non-ferrous metals and ferrous metals.

Compared with high-purity graphite crucibles, clay graphite crucibles have significant differences in composition, production process, usage characteristics and performance fields. High-purity graphite crucibles are sintered with clean energy natural gas, which has no pollution problems, a short cycle, a composition of more than 99%, and can be used in high-temperature electric furnaces. Clay graphite crucible is more suitable for use in heating processes at normal or lower temperatures.
