Graphite bushing is a bushing made of graphite material as the main raw material. It is usually installed between the shaft and other components to reduce friction, support the rotation of the shaft, and protect the shaft.

Good self-lubricating properties:

● Graphite itself has a layered structure. During the friction process, the graphite layers can slide relative to each other, thus providing good self-lubricating properties. ● When you use graphite bushings, you don't need to add lubricating oil frequently, which reduces maintenance costs and possible environmental pollution caused by lubricating oil leakage.

Excellent wear resistance:

● Graphite material has moderate hardness and can withstand a certain amount of pressure and friction without causing excessive wear to the shaft. During long-term use, the graphite sleeve can maintain a relatively stable size and shape, ensuring the rotation accuracy of the shaft.

● Even under high-speed rotation or heavy-load working conditions, the graphite bushing can show excellent wear resistance, extending the service life of the equipment.

High temperature resistance:

● Graphite has a high melting point and good thermal stability, and can work normally in high temperature environments. Generally speaking, graphite bushings can withstand temperatures up to several hundred degrees Celsius. The specific high temperature resistance depends on the purity of the graphite and the manufacturing process.

● Under high temperature conditions, the graphite bushing will not soften, deform or lose its lubrication performance, ensuring the reliability and safety of the equipment.

Packaging and shipping

For smaller sizes of graphite bushings, they are usually packaged individually. Place a bushing into a plastic bag and then into a cardboard or Styrofoam box. This packaging method ensures that each bushing is independently protected from collision and friction with each other.

For larger sizes or batch production of graphite bushings, multiple packages may be used. Arrange multiple bushings neatly in a cardboard box or foam box, and then wrap them in a plastic bag.

In multiple packages, spacers or fillers can be used to separate the sleeves and prevent them from hitting each other. At the same time, the quantity, specifications and other information of the bushings can also be marked on the packaging to facilitate inventory and management.
