If a crucible is used, it will crack, burst, fall from the front and bottom, causing the loss of molten metal, and even industrial accidents. Therefore, graphite crucibles must pay attention to moisture prevention during storage and use.
The warehouse where graphite crucibles are stored should be dry and ventilated, with a temperature of 5 ℃~25 ℃ and a relative humidity of 50%~60%. The crucible should not be placed on brick soil or cement air to avoid moisture. The block graphite crucible should be placed on a wooden frame, 25-30cm above the ground; Wooden boxes, wicker baskets, straw bags, and other packages should be placed with sleepers under the pile, with a height of no less than 20cm above the ground. Covering the tie with a layer of felt is more conducive to moisture prevention. After stacking for a period of time, be sure to pour it over. Pour the upper layer over the lower layer, and the ones with good Z over the upper layer. The stacking time distance should not be too long. It is usually stacked every two months. If the air humidity is not high, it can be stacked every three months. In short, frequent stacking can achieve good moisture resistance.
